Kayla Gaffney, Event Manager
Kayla began her event planning career with All Access Sport and Event Marketing, in Wellington, FL, where she coordinated events such as The US Open Polo Championship. From 2005-2006, Kayla served as an event manager for Tech Target in Needham, MA. In this role she organized and managed seminars, conferences and custom events, serving as the main point-of-contact for clients both during the pre-event planning stages and on-site. Prior to joining the team at the Conference Department, Inc., Kayla served as the Event Operations Manager at World Congress in Woburn, MA, where she was an integral member of the planning team for the company’s largest program. In her role as Event Operations Manager, Kayla also planned and managed 20 multi-day meetings each year, for which she handled vendor negotiation, site selections, event budgets, and other day-to-day planning activities.
Kayla is a graduate of Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH.
